Gil Marín: 'We don't want violent fans at Atlético'
The CEO of Atlético de Madrid, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, has issued a statement criticizing the presence of violent fans in their stadium and lamenting the ‘populist and demagogic use’ of incidents from the last derby between Atlético and Real Madrid at the Metropolitano.
Gil Marín assures that they have been pursuing these behaviors and expelling those who commit them for years, but they need information to be able to act against the violent and permanently expel them from the club. The Atlético executive also denounces the double trial to which they are being subjected for the same facts.
