Horatiu Moldovan makes successful debut with Sassuolo
Romanian goalkeeper Horatiu Moldovan, owned by Atlético de Madrid and on loan to Italian side Sassuolo, finally made his debut with the Italian team in Serie B. Moldovan had a great performance in his first game, making three saves and keeping a clean sheet.
The player had been loaned to Sassuolo in the last week of the transfer market, with a purchase option of 1.3 million euros. Moldovan had left Atlético de Madrid due to lack of opportunities, as he was in the shadow of Jan Oblak.
