Simeone surprises with four changes in the starting lineup against RB Leipzig
Atlético de Madrid is ready to face RB Leipzig in the Champions League of the 24/25 edition at the Metropolitano. Diego Simeone, the team’s coach, presented a starting lineup with two expected changes and two surprises.
Julián Álvarez and Rodrigo Riquelme were the expected changes, while Reinildo and Correa were the surprises. The rest of the team maintained the usual block, with Jan Oblak in goal, Marcos Llorente, Robin Le Normand, Giménez, Reinildo and Riquelme in defense, Griezmann, Koke and De Paul in midfield, and Correa and Julián Álvarez in attack. Juan Musso and Antonio Gomis will wait on the bench as substitute goalkeepers, along with Azpilicueta, Gallagher, Lenglet, Molina, Witsel, Javi Galán, Javi Serrano, Samuel Lino, Sorloth and Giuliano Simeone.
