José María Giménez, defender for Atlético de Madrid, highlighted the team’s fight and work in the 2-1 victory over Leipzig in the first matchday of the Champions League.
Giménez scored the winning goal in the 90th minute and stated that the team never stopped fighting, dreaming, and believing in the victory. The Uruguayan center-back also lamented the defensive lapse that allowed Leipzig to take the lead.
