Griezmann, candidate for the Golden Foot
Antoine Griezmann, forward for Atlético de Madrid, has been nominated for the Golden Foot, a prize awarded to the best player in the world over the age of 29.
The French forward will have to compete against big names like Lionel Messi, Marco Verratti, Neymar Junior, Virgil van Dijk, Thomas Müller, Harry Kane, Kevin de Bruyne, Karim Benzema and Lautaro Martínez. If Griezmann wins this award, he would become the first Atlético de Madrid player to do so in over 20 years of Golden Foot history.
