Lemar and Barrios progress in their recovery at Atlético de Madrid
Atlético de Madrid returned to training on Tuesday to prepare for the match against RB Leipzig in the Champions League. Thomas Lemar and Pablo Barrios, who are currently in the infirmary, trained with the group in part of the session.
Lemar has had a poor start to the season due to muscle discomfort and has not been included in any squad. His return will be gradual. Meanwhile, Barrios, who was muscularly injured during the FIFA break, was seen at one of Atlético’s training fields. Still in the early stages of his recovery, he worked on the grass, which is good news.
