Atlético de Madrid strengthens presence in Saudi Arabia
Atlético de Madrid has strengthened its presence in Saudi Arabia with a new naming contract with Riyadh Air, which will provide an important economic boost for the club.
The club’s Director General of Business and Operations, Óscar Mayo, spoke with the Saudi newspaper Al-Iqtisadiah about the agreement and the strategic importance of the Saudi market for the team.
Mayo highlighted the presence of Atlético in friendly matches and official competitions in Saudi Arabia, as well as the growth of Saudi football and the importance of the Saudi Arabian League.
In addition, the club has organized activities in Riyadh and Jeddah and has received a group of Saudi players in Madrid. The goal is to continue strengthening the relationship between Atlético de Madrid and Saudi Arabia, and to provide more opportunities for young players.
