Atlético de Madrid expands collaboration with Saudi Arabia
Atlético de Madrid has signed an agreement with Riyadh Air, a recently created Saudi airline, which will become the club’s largest sponsorship in economic terms. The agreement includes the presence of Riyadh Air on the chest of the red and white players as the main sponsor and the naming rights of the Metropolitano stadium.
The club’s Director General of Business and Operations, Óscar Mayo, has confirmed that the relationship will also include the women’s team and has highlighted the strategic importance of Saudi Arabia for the club. Atlético has organized various activities in Riyadh and Jeddah and has received a group of Saudi players in Madrid, with the aim of strengthening the relationship between Madrid and Saudi Arabia and providing more opportunities for young players.
