Gil Marín criticizes Antiviolencia's sanction: 'It's intolerable...'
Atlético de Madrid has reacted against the sanction proposed by Antiviolencia, which has proposed the closure of the Metropolitano for 15 days and a fine of 65,000 euros. The rojiblanco club has issued a statement signed by Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, CEO of Atlético, in which he criticizes the sanction as ‘completely disproportionate’.
Gil Marín states that the club has worked on identifying those involved in the incidents of the derby against Real Madrid and that four of them have already been permanently expelled as members of the club. The CEO has also criticized the ‘populist and demagogic’ use of these incidents and has requested ‘information’ to be able to act against the violent and expel them permanently from the club.
