Simeone tests a lineup with Sorloth as a starter
Atlético de Madrid continues preparing for Sunday’s match against Leganés at the Metropolitano. Diego Simeone was able to count on all the internationals in Friday’s training session in Majadahonda.
Despite this, the Cholo tested a lineup without them, with only three players who left with their respective national teams: Oblak, Molina, and Sorloth. The novelty was the presence of Giuliano as an improvised right-back, although for the match against Leganés, it will be Nahuel who occupies that position.
Galán and Lenglet, after their good performance at the Reale Arena in San Sebastián, would remain in the starting lineup. The team that Simeone tested was: Oblak; Giuliano (Molina), Witsel, Lenglet, Galán, Lino, Koke, Barrios, Griezmann, Correa, and Sorloth. Atlético still has one training session left before the match, which will take place on Saturday morning at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.
