Despierta Atleti regrets the club's decision on the animation stand
The Despierta Atleti platform has issued a statement regretting Atlético de Madrid’s decision not to sell tickets to members of the animation stand for the team’s next five away games. The measure was taken after the incidents of the derby and the fine received from UEFA.
The platform, which includes nearly a hundred Atlético de Madrid fan clubs and groups, considers the decision disproportionate, unjust and lacking in consideration for members. They also denounce that the trips planned, organized and paid for by members of the stand cannot go ahead due to the club’s decision. The platform invites the club to reconsider and apologize, and members, fan clubs and supporters to reflect on everything they have achieved together.
