“Atletico Madrid seek Copa del Rey quarter-final spot at La Rosaleda”

Atletico Madrid will face Marbella at La Rosaleda in search of a place in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals. The match has a special significance for our coach, Diego Pablo Simeone, as it was the first stadium he visited as a Rojiblanco coach 13 years ago.

Our team arrives at this tie after eliminating Vic (0-2) and Cacereño (1-3), while the Andalusians have overcome Bergantiños (1-2) and Burgos (1-0). The Costa del Sol team is in Group 2 of Primera RFEF, the same as our second team. Atletico will seek a place in the quarter-finals in a packed stadium and with a large Rojiblanco representation in the stands, with the aim of adding a thirteenth consecutive victory in all competitions.

“Atlético de Madrid seeks victory in derby against Real Madrid”

Atlético de Madrid faces Real Madrid in a big game in Alcalá de Henares to resume competition in Liga F. Our team arrives after beating Levante Badalona (0-1) in the Copa de la Reina with a goal from Fiamma Benítez.

Real Madrid is a team that wins its away games, as it has only lost one game at home against Barcelona (0-4) and the other game it did not win was against Víctor Martín’s disciples (1-1) on Madrid’s turf in the sixth round.

Atlético wants to return to the winning path in Liga F after two consecutive away games in which it only managed to get one point, against Tenerife (2-2) and losing to Betis (2-1). Nothing better to do it than in a derby against Real Madrid, to equal points with the whites, although they have two games less, and to maintain or increase the advantage in the standings.
