“Club Unión Collado Villalba becomes Atlético de Madrid’s feeder club”

Club Unión Collado Villalba has become Atlético de Madrid’s feeder club for the upcoming season, after the agreement of affiliation between both entities was accepted by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

The Villalba team will compete as Atlético de Madrid’s feeder club in Group 7 of Tercera RFEF for ten years. During the first season, the team will maintain its current colors and name, but it is expected that in the 2025-26 season, the name Atlético de Madrid C will be adopted and the traditional red and white uniform will be used. The planning of this first campaign will be under the responsibility of Atlético de Madrid’s general football management, which will designate the technical team and decide the configuration of the squad.

The season will officially start in September with the semifinal match of the first round of the Women’s Champions League against Rosenborg.
