Pablo Pérez increased the lead in the 25th minute with a great run down the left flank and Sergio Guerrero made it 3-0 in the 40th minute with a shot that hit the post. Juan Rodríguez scored a late goal for Algeciras before halftime, but the score remained unchanged in the second half.
