“The Metropolitano will host the ‘Atleti en Femenino’ event”
On March 30th, the Auditorio Cívitas Metropolitano will be the stage for the first “Atleti en Femenino” event, a pioneering initiative to recognize the work of women in the different sports sections of Atlético de Madrid.
The event will feature the collaboration of Club Atlético de Madrid, A.D. Oña Sanchinarro and ZIVA South Europe. During the event, the history of Atlético Madrid Femenino will be presented and the current situation of women’s football will be discussed, with the participation of prominent figures from the world of sports.
In addition, the Almudena Grandes Award for career in women’s sports will be presented and the event will conclude with a party. The initiative is part of the activities that will take place around March 8th, International Women’s Day.
