Double Mattress Celebration in Pozuelo and Villanueva del Pardillo!
A weekend of joy for the Atlético family! Two emblematic fan clubs, those of Pozuelo de Alarcón and Villanueva del Pardillo, celebrated important anniversaries, reaffirming the unwavering red and white spirit.
The Peña Atlética Pozuelo de Alarcón commemorated its 65th anniversary with a big party in the hall of La Inseparable, a historic place in the municipality.
The event was attended by numerous friendly fan clubs, including Adictos, Atleti Internacional, Sons of Atleti, Rock & Roll, La Ventana 101, Boadilla, Villanueva del Pardillo, L’Alacantí, Indios de Caledonia and New York, demonstrating the unity and camaraderie that characterizes the mattress fanbase.
Andrés López, president of the Peña de Paiporta, also received a warm tribute and support after the difficult moments experienced in Valencia. Miguel Ángel Ruiz and Pepe Navarro, glories of Atleti, represented the club on this unforgettable day, which culminated with live music from the Metropolitano Rock Band, spreading joy to fan club members and neighbors.
On the other hand, the Peña Atlética Villanueva del Pardillo put the finishing touch to the events of its 25th anniversary, which began in January with a brotherhood dinner. On this occasion, legends such as Adelardo Rodríguez, Cacho Heredia and Juan Carlos Pedraza shared special moments with the fan club members, accompanied by the Intercontinental trophy from 1975, a symbol of the greatness and history of our Atleti. A pride to belong to this great red and white family!
