The FIFA Club World Cup trophy is already at the Metropolitano!
The FIFA Club World Cup trophy arrived at the Metropolitano on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 January. Atlético de Madrid will play in the tournament in the United States this summer, facing PSG, Botafogo and Seattle Sounders in the first phase.
The trophy will visit the headquarters of each of the 32 participating clubs. At the Metropolitano, the trophy was received by 300 boys and girls from the Atlético de Madrid Academy, who were able to see the trophy and feed their dreams of becoming professional players.
Later, the trophy toured some key locations in the city and in the history of Atlético de Madrid. On Thursday, all fans could see and take pictures with the trophy at the club’s official store on Gran Vía 47.
