Atlético de Madrid makes history in Prague with a thrashing and gestures of brotherhood
Atlético de Madrid made history at the Generali Arena in Prague with a 0-6 thrashing of Sparta in their biggest ever Champions League win. Despite the heavy defeat, Sparta fans cheered on their team for almost the entire game.
Atlético fans added a red and white touch to one of the stadium’s corners and provided the soundtrack for the Champions League match. There were moments of brotherhood between the fans, such as when Sparta fans began chanting against Real Madrid and Atlético fans supported them. They also exchanged scarves after the game.
