Salim El Jebari close to joining Cartagena on loan
Salim El Jebari, a 20-year-old Atlético de Madrid winger, could leave the club on loan this winter transfer window. Cartagena is negotiating for the rojiblanco canterano, who despite having debuted with the first team and having been called up by Simeone on several occasions, is not enjoying the confidence of Fernando Torres in the filial.
The young international in youth categories for Spain and Morocco will face his first professional football experience in a team in need of reinforcements and that is bottom of the Second Division. Cartagena’s intention is to close the operation as soon as possible so that he is available even for Saturday’s match against Huesca.
