Red and White Party! Children's Day at the Metropolitano
Atlético de Madrid celebrated another edition of Children’s Day in style, a special day dedicated to the youngest Red and White fans. Thousands of Atlético fans gathered around the Metropolitano to enjoy a day full of activities and performances designed for the little ones, who were the main protagonists.
The festive atmosphere was palpable from early on, anticipating the atmosphere that would be experienced hours later. The first team’s morning training session was one of the highlights.
More than 2,000 fans, reaching over 8,000 as the match approached, filled the stands of the Metropolitano to cheer on Simeone’s players in their pre-match warm-up session. A great example of the connection between the team and its fans, especially with the youngest, who enjoyed an unforgettable day.
Children’s Day is thus consolidated as a Red and White tradition, an event that reinforces the Atlético feeling in the new generations and that foreshadows a bright future for the ‘colchonera’ fans. Despite the fact that the match schedule was not the most favorable, the fans responded by filling the stadium and creating a spectacular atmosphere to support the team in the penultimate match of the season at home.
