More Atleti! League Calendar with a Club World Cup Flavor
Attention, Rojiblancos! The key dates for the next LaLiga season are now known, and it comes with a special flavor for us. The calendar, conditioned by Atlético de Madrid’s participation in the Club World Cup, promises strong emotions from the start.
The league competition will kick off on the weekend of August 17, but watch out! If our Atleti reaches the final phase of the Club World Cup, the start would be delayed until August 24, giving us a well-deserved break and a more complete pre-season to face all the challenges.
The AFE has officially requested it to ensure the rest and physical preparation of our players! Three dates are being considered to make up for that postponed match, including the possibility of a Madrid derby! so as not to affect the rest of the teams.
Imagine the intensity with which we would start the season! In addition, we already have other important dates marked in red: the Spanish Super Cup will be played between January 8 and 11, and the Copa del Rey final on April 25.
