Barrios and Atleti: United until 2030!
Great news for the Red and White family! Pablo Barrios, a homegrown talent and a key player in Simeone’s system, has renewed his commitment to Atlético de Madrid until June 30, 2030.
An agreement that consolidates the club’s future and ensures the continuity of a talent who has already proven his worth at the Metropolitano. Barrios, only 21 years old, arrived at the Academy in the 2017/18 season and has since climbed the ranks to become a benchmark in midfield.
His debut with the first team, at 19 against Cádiz, marked the beginning of a meteoric career. He already has more than 100 games defending the Red and White colors, leaving flashes of quality, important goals and key assists.
His dedication and good play have not only earned him a place in the hearts of the fans, but have also opened the doors to the Olympic Team, where he won the gold medal in Paris 2024.
Shortly after, came his debut with the senior national team, a milestone that confirms his projection as one of the most promising players in Spanish football.
