Children's Day: Unexpected Schedule for Atlético
LaLiga has announced the schedules for matchdays 35 and 36, generating controversy at Atlético de Madrid. The match against Real Sociedad at the Metropolitano, corresponding to matchday 35, has been scheduled for Saturday, May 10th at 9:00 PM.
This date is especially significant for the club, as it coincides with the celebration of the traditional Children’s Day. Atlético de Madrid had requested LaLiga to schedule the match for the afternoon, seeking to facilitate the attendance of the youngest fans to the stadium.
However, on this occasion, LaLiga has not heeded the club’s request, causing discontent among the fans and the board. As for matchday 36, Atlético will visit Osasuna at El Sadar on Thursday, May 15th at 7:00 PM.
This day, a holiday in Madrid for the celebration of San Isidro, will allow many fans to accompany the team on this trip. Despite the late schedule of the match against Real Sociedad, Atlético is confident in the unconditional support of its fans, especially the youngest ones, to achieve an important victory at home and continue adding points in the standings.
