Diego Simeone, coach of Atlético de Madrid, reached 700 games as coach of the rojiblanco team. He is the coach with the most games on the team’s bench, surpassing Luis Aragonés.
Simeone has won eight titles with Atlético, including two Leagues, one Copa del Rey, one Spanish Super Cup, two European Super Cups and two Europa Leagues. He is the only coach who has won LaLiga above Real Madrid and Barcelona in the last 19 seasons. In addition, he has the best unbeaten streak in team history, with 23 games, and the record for home wins, with 21 wins at the Vicente Calderón.
