Atlético Madrid will know their Copa del Rey opponent on Monday
Atlético Madrid are eagerly awaiting the draw for the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey, which will take place on Monday 29 January at 13:00 in the City of Football in Las Rozas.
The possible opponents for the team coached by Diego Pablo Simeone are Real Madrid, Barcelona, Real Sociedad, Osasuna, Leganés, Getafe and Valencia. The draw will be unique and the teams that come out first in each pairing will play at home in the single-match elimination that will be played from 4 to 6 February.
The semi-finals will be the only phase played home and away. Atlético Madrid have not won the Copa since 2013 and this round presents itself as particularly competitive and unpredictable for Cholo’s men.
