Atleti conquers Los Angeles!
Great news for the Colchoneros! Atlético de Madrid has its base of operations for the group stage of the Club World Cup: the legendary Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum! The team, under the guidance of Diego Pablo Simeone, will land on American soil on June 10th to prepare conscientiously for the decisive matches.
This historic stadium, with almost a century of life, is a true temple of sport. It has witnessed Olympic feats, vibrant American football games, and exciting baseball duels.
Now, it will be the headquarters of Atleti! From there, our players will fine-tune their aim and strategy to face rivals such as PSG (June 15), Seattle Sounders FC (June 20), and Botafogo (June 23).
Although the training sessions will not be open to the public, we know that the team will give their all to arrive in optimal condition for each match. Atleti is ready to leave its mark on the Club World Cup! With hard work, passion, and the unconditional support of its fans, we are sure to achieve great things in this tournament. Aúpa Atleti!
