Atleti, a champion in advertising too
Atlético de Madrid continues to reap success, this time in the field of advertising communication. The Rojiblancos club has been awarded at the 2025 National Creativity Awards for two campaigns that demonstrate its social commitment and its ability to connect with the public in an emotional way.
The first campaign, ‘Comandante y Cartón’, won a silver and a bronze, promoting the responsible adoption of animals and praising loyalty. This initiative, starring two dogs, reinforces the club’s affection for animals and its message of social responsibility.
The second campaign, ‘Marino Uriel: An (un)forgettable Legend’, was awarded a bronze and, in collaboration with AFEAM, raises awareness about Alzheimer’s through the story of a fictitious player. Both campaigns, developed with the agencies Sra.
Rushmore and Havas Spain, respectively, highlight the most human side of Atleti, demonstrating that the club goes beyond sports. These awards confirm Atlético de Madrid’s excellent work in the field of advertising, adding to other previous recognitions and consolidating the club as a benchmark for innovation and advertising creativity in Spain. Once again, Atleti proves that it is much more than a football team, it is an institution committed to society.
