Red and White Talent on Stage: Four Atleti Sub-19 Gems Called Up by Spain
Great news for the Red and White academy! Four young promises from Atlético de Madrid have been called up by Paco Gallardo, coach of the Spanish U-19 national team, to play two friendly matches against Norway in Alicante.
This call-up is a clear reflection of the excellent work being done at the Atlético Academy, surpassing other big clubs such as Real Madrid, Betis or Valencia in the number of representatives.
The lucky ones to represent the national team are Daniel Muñoz, Alejandro Monserrate, Omar Janneh and Jorge Castillo, names that resonate strongly among Colchoneros fans. Janneh, known for his outstanding participation in the Youth League and his contributions to the Youth team, continues to prove his worth.
Monserrate, a significant bet by the club from Real Zaragoza, consolidates his status as one of the most brilliant promises of Spanish football. Castillo, a midfielder with exceptional talent, is also part of this select group.
Completing the list is Daniel Muñoz, a defender with great projection. These friendly matches, to be held on the 25th and 27th of this month, will serve as preparation for Round 2 of the qualifying phase for the European Championship.
