Giménez works hard during vacation to face Osasuna
José María Giménez, Atlético de Madrid defender, is working hard during his vacation to recover from muscle discomfort and be available for the match against Osasuna on January 12 at the Metropolitano.
Giménez had to be substituted in the last match of the year for Atlético de Madrid, in which they won against Barcelona in Montjuïc with a goal from Sorloth in the 95th minute and said goodbye to 2024 as leaders of LaLiga.
Although the first explorations ruled out a serious injury, Giménez is working hard to be available to Simeone and continue with a course in which physical problems have been respecting him. Before the match against Osasuna, Atlético will play against Marbella in La Rosaleda on January 4 in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey.
