Le Normand Leads the Red and White Fight Against Bullying
The Atlético de Madrid Foundation continues its tireless social work with the ‘Become a Defense Against Bullying’ project, now in its fourth season.
On this occasion, coinciding with the International Day against School Bullying, Red and White defender Robin Le Normand has joined the cause, raising his voice in an emotional video alongside young people from the Academy and students from the María Moliner School, one of the eleven educational centers benefiting from the program this year.
The message is clear and direct: together we can stop school bullying. The video encourages not looking the other way, being brave and defending others, promoting respect and companionship. This initiative uses the values of football as a tool for social transformation.
Since its inception, with the participation of players like Savic and Giménez, the project has grown, reaching schools throughout the Community of Madrid and offering specific training to the young people of the Academy.
Thanks to the support of H&S and its Stop Bullying campaign, awareness activities have been carried out with the presence of players such as Azpilicueta, even in the Fan Zone of the Metropolitano, with a great reception from the fans. Aware of the seriousness of the problem, the Atlético de Madrid Foundation is already working on expanding the program for next season, seeking to reach more young people and families, in a country where bullying, including cyberbullying, is a worrying reality.
