Atleti faces European challenge
Attention, Rojiblancos! A Champions League draw is coming up that could put us to the test. After qualifying directly for the Round of 16, all eyes are on Friday’s draw, where two possible rivals lurk: two old acquaintances who have embittered European finals for us.
Bayern, a reminder of that 1974 final, and Real Madrid, executioner in Lisbon and Milan, could cross our path. Facing either of them in the Round of 16 would be an anticipated final, an opportunity to settle old scores.
