Marbella: the sponsor that united Atlético, Betis, Sevilla and Valladolid
The Malaga city of Marbella was a significant sponsor on the shirts of several LaLiga teams in the 1990s. Atlético de Madrid, under the presidency of Jesús Gil, wore the name of Marbella on their shirt between 1990 and 1996 and in the 1998-1999 season.
Betis also wore the name of Marbella on their shirt in the 1992-1993 season, while Sevilla did so in the 1994-1995 and 1995-1996 seasons. Valladolid also wore the name of Marbella on their shirt in the 1995-1996 season.
