The era of Andrea Berta at Atlético de Madrid comes to an end
Atlético de Madrid’s sporting director, Andrea Berta, has ended his time at the club after a successful career that began in 2013. Berta has been key to the team’s growth, forming part of the fundamental trio in planning and decision-making alongside Miguel Ángel Gil and Diego Pablo Simeone.
Although there have been great successes and some failures in the transfer market, Berta has been fundamental in building the team. Now, the club is looking for a replacement for the sports management, with the intention of finding someone from the house with the capacity to create a professionalized team and at the level of Atlético de Madrid.
