Ángel Correa, the talented forward of Atlético de Madrid, has revealed that both Diego Simeone and the club’s management have given him the freedom to decide his professional future. In a recent interview, the Argentine shared that he will make this important decision once the Club World Cup is over.
‘I have spoken with Cholo and the club about my wishes. They respect me and value everything I have given to the team. I have always prioritized Atlético and they recognize that.
They have given me the freedom to choose what is best for my future,’ Correa explained, showing the excellent relationship he maintains with the coach and the management. With one year remaining on his contract, Correa also mentioned conversations with Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, who has offered him a renewal.
Simeone, for his part, has expressed his satisfaction with the player’s performance and has reiterated his support, regardless of the decision he makes. ‘I am focused on the team, on improving as a footballer.
