Atlético Madrid were looking to strengthen their midfield this summer and Danilo Pereira was one of their targets. The Portuguese player revealed that there were talks with the Colchoneros in the final hours of the transfer market, but PSG rejected many offers.
In the end, Danilo Pereira moved to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia. The 33-year-old midfielder, who was discarded by Luis Enrique, did not fit into Atlético Madrid’s plan to rejuvenate their squad.
