Sorloth joins Atletico to face Villarreal
Atletico Madrid completed their last training session before receiving Villarreal at the Metropolitano on Saturday at 4:15 pm. The main novelty was the presence of Alexander Sorloth with the group, who joined the team’s dynamics in this last training session.
The only absence that Cholo had in this session was Javi Galán, who is recovering from an ankle sprain suffered in the clash against Bayer Leverkusen. It is expected that Le Normand will enter the center of the defense alongside Giménez and that Reinildo will take care of the left side. Some changes are not ruled out in midfield and attack considering the tremendous effort made by the team against Xabi Alonso’s team.
