Atlético Madrid Juvenil beat Sparta Praga in Youth League
Atlético Madrid Juvenil achieved a hard-fought victory against Sparta Praga in the Youth League. Luis Bueno’s team resolved a match that became complicated in the second half, but they dominated for most of the game. Omar Janneh and Rayane Belid were the scorers for the mattress team.
Atlético carried the weight of the game and took the lead on the scoreboard thanks to a great pass from Belid that Janneh took advantage of to beat the local goalkeeper. Before the half-hour mark, Belid increased the lead with a great shot from the edge of the area.
In the second half, the red and whites started a bit slow and Sparta reduced the difference thanks to a goal from Horak. Despite this, Atlético had plenty of chances to have finished the game, but they also received some surprises in the form of shots from the opposing team.
