Atlético Madrid gives up on signing Jhon Arias
Atlético Madrid was interested in signing Colombian winger Jhon Arias, 27, from Fluminense during last summer’s Copa América. The red and white club offered 10 million euros for the player, but Fluminense rejected the offer.
Now, Atlético has given up on signing Arias due to the high demands of the Carioca club, according to RTI Esporte. Galatasaray is now the team most insistent on his signing. 50% of Arias’ rights belong to Patriotas Boyacá, which further complicates his possible signing. Sevilla also showed interest in the player at one point.
