Donato returns home: New leader for the Juvenil A
Great news for the Rojiblanco youth academy! Ángel Donato, a home-grown coach, is returning to Atlético de Madrid to take charge of the Juvenil A team. Following the departure of Luis Bueno, the club’s management has opted for a man with Colchonero DNA to continue promoting young talent.
Donato, who trained at the Academy from 2015 to 2023, where he coached Juvenil B, returns after a successful spell at Elche Ilicitano. At Elche, Donato left an indelible mark, achieving promotion to Segunda RFEF and consolidating the team in the category with comfortable permanence.
His work did not go unnoticed, and several of his players had the opportunity to debut in the first team. This appointment is a clear sign of Atlético de Madrid’s commitment to the training and development of young talents.
The arrival of Donato, with his experience and knowledge of the club, promises a bright future for Juvenil A. We are confident that with his leadership and passion, the young Rojiblancos will reach new goals and continue to take the name of Atlético de Madrid to the top!
