Xènia Pérez: Rojiblanco Future Secured
Great news for Atlético fans! Xènia Pérez, one of our key players, has renewed her contract with Atlético de Madrid until 2027. The defender, who arrived at the club in 2022 from RCD Espanyol, will continue to defend our colors for two more seasons.
At just 23 years old, Xènia has established herself as a fundamental piece both on and off the field. Her commitment and talent have led her to wear the captain’s armband on several occasions.
In her three seasons as a Rojiblanca, she has played a total of 63 official matches, including Liga F, Copa de la Reina, UEFA Women’s Champions League and Spanish Super Cup matches. In addition, she has been called up by the Spanish U-23 National Team on several occasions.
Xènia not only stands out for her defensive solidity, but also for her scoring ability, having scored two goals in the Atlético shirt. She was an important part in winning the 2023 Copa de la Reina against Real Madrid, a title we celebrated in style.
