Almeida dreams of an epic derby in the Club World Cup
The Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, has expressed his desire to see Atlético de Madrid face Real Madrid in the Club World Cup final. Although he acknowledges the emotional difficulty it would entail for his rojiblanco heart, as mayor, he would be delighted to welcome the winning team to the capital.
Almeida has full confidence in Atlético’s potential to reach the final of the tournament, highlighting that both Madrid teams have “more than enough level” to reach the top.
