Pablo Ibáñez: 'Atlético can fight for LaLiga'
Pablo Ibáñez, former Atlético de Madrid player, highlighted that the team is playing ‘very well’ and expressed his desire for them to bring ‘many joys’ this season. Although it was ‘harder’ at the beginning, Atlético has had a good run.
Ibáñez also mentioned that there are options to win LaLiga, although it will be difficult due to the competition from Real Madrid and Barcelona. The former central defender also highlighted the Atlético defense, especially Clément Lenglet and José María Giménez. For his part, former Atlético player Roberto Jiménez stated that he believes the red and whites can win LaLiga, despite having lost first place and being four points behind Real Madrid.
