Atlético, an innovative giant absent from LaLiga awards
In the recent edition of the LaLiga awards, which recognize innovation in various business areas of clubs, such as infrastructure, digital, international and commercial, Atlético de Madrid was not among the winners.
Clubs such as RCD Mallorca, Valencia CF, Real Betis, RC Celta and Getafe CF were recognized for their pioneering initiatives that made a difference in 2024. RCD Mallorca took the award for Best Hospitality Product with its ‘Tunnel Experience’, offering fans a privileged view of the matches.
Valencia CF stood out with its ‘Nochevieja Coliseo Mestalla’, a massive event to celebrate the New Year at the stadium. Real Betis was doubly awarded for its ‘Betis Week’, a successful international tour, and for its ‘El Príncipe de Revel-Air’ campaign.
RC Celta won the award for Best Content on Social Media for its original ‘New Year’s Eve Special’, while Getafe CF was recognized for its innovative Digital Advent Calendar. The absence of Atlético de Madrid among the award winners does not tarnish the innovative spirit that has always characterized the rojiblanco club.
