Atlético de Madrid considers removing Courtois' plaque
Atlético de Madrid will once again discuss the case of Thibaut Courtois in the next Social Commission. The International Union of Peñas will propose the removal of his plaque from the Paseo de los Jugadores Centenarios due to his statements and behavior that have been considered disrespectful towards the club and its fans. The president of the Union of Peñas, Eduardo Fernández, has expressed that the majority of the Commission members believe that Courtois’ plaque should be removed.
