Atleti chasing the promise Maza
Atlético de Madrid is closely following young talents and has set its sights on Ibrahim Maza, a 19-year-old attacking midfielder from Hertha Berlin. According to reports, the Colchoneros are among the main clubs interested in signing the player for next season.
Maza, under contract until 2027, could leave Hertha for a fee between eight and ten million euros, although his market value is estimated at 12 million. Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen have also shown interest, as have several English clubs such as the two Manchester teams and Newcastle.
Maza, born in Berlin in 2005, has established himself in Hertha’s first team this season, playing 22 Bundesliga matches, where he scored five goals and provided five assists. In the Cup, he added two goals in three games.
Although his main position is attacking midfielder, he can also play on the left wing or as a center forward. Of Algerian origin, Maza has debuted with the Algerian national team. Atlético is confident in its ability to convince the player and add another young promise to its squad.
