Simeone takes charge of Atlético de Madrid again
Atlético de Madrid returned to training this Monday in Majadahonda, after a weekend of rest. Diego Simeone, the team’s coach, took charge again after being absent on Friday with the club’s permission.
The internationals Sorloth, Gallagher and Oblak had the day off after finishing their calls with their national teams, while Le Normand returned to train with the group and Lemar was the only absentee. The training began with speed and resistance series, led by Luis Piñedo, the team’s physical trainer. Andrea Berta, Atlético de Madrid’s sports director, was present at the training and had conversations with some players.
