Griezmann scores again and Atlético advances in the Champions League
Atlético de Madrid left almost decided their duel against RB Salzburg at the Red Bull Arena, thanks to a goal from Giuliano Simeone and two from Antoine Griezmann. The Frenchman ended a small drought of four games without scoring, adding up to 14 goals this season, six of them in the Champions League. The result leaves Atlético mathematically classified among the top eight teams of the 36 that make up the preliminary phase of the Champions League and directly qualified for the round of 16.
