Atlético de Madrid becomes ice rink for Christmas
On Saturday, December 21, the Atlético de Madrid stadium, the Metropolitano, will become one of the largest ice rinks in Europe. With almost 5000 square meters of ice, 18,000 people per day will be able to enjoy a unique experience.
The event, called Madrid on Ice, will have musical and sports surprises and is expected to receive around 200,000 people until January 5. The entrance includes the loan of skates and there will be workshops for children and adults, light shows on ice, chocolate with churros, roasted chestnuts and cotton candy stands.
