Sorloth and Griezmann, the top scorers of the year at Atlético de Madrid
The year 2024 was very productive for Atlético de Madrid, especially for two of its players: Alexander Sorloth and Antoine Griezmann. The Norwegian was the top scorer of LaLiga in the natural year of 2024, with 29 goals and without counting penalties.
Sorloth arrived at Atlético de Madrid last summer for a fee of 32 million euros, from Villarreal, where he scored 23 goals. For his part, Griezmann was the top scorer of Atlético de Madrid in 2024, with 19 goals in total in all competitions. The Frenchman surpassed his teammates Morata, Memphis Depay and Ángel Correa in the team’s goalscoring table.
