Atlético de Madrid Women are in the semifinals of the Copa de la Reina! After an exciting match against Cacereño, resolved in extra time with two vital goals in the final minutes, the Rojiblancas have sealed their place in the next phase.
The draw, which will take place next Tuesday 18th at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas, will define Atleti’s rival in the search for a new title. Alongside Atlético, Barcelona, Granada and Real Madrid are the other contenders for the trophy.
The team, champions of the Copa de la Reina in 2023, showed grit and determination to overcome a tough match in Cáceres. The draw will be crucial, and the semi-final matches, played over two legs, promise to be vibrant.
Granada surprised by beating Levante (0-1) and Real Madrid needed extra time to eliminate Real Sociedad (3-1), while Barcelona, the defending champion, eliminated Madrid CFF (1-2).
